Halloween Party!!!

Tomorrow, 11/1/11, we will be having a halloween party!!  We will start that party at 6:30 at Redeemer Lutheran Church!  Look forward to seeing you then!

First Meeting October 18th!!

Hello everyone!!!  Our first pack meeting will be on tuesday, October 18th at 6:30pm at Redeemder lutheran church.  Hope to see you all there!!

Welcome Back!

It is fall which means its time for scouts to start up again.  We have had some changes this year.  Mr. Koppari will be our new cub master.  Mr. Crowe will be the Committee Chair and will help out in the meetings.  We would like to acknowledge the contributions and efforts of the Lockwoods.  They kept this pack running for all of these years and it is greatly appreciated.  We hope to build on the great pack that they started.  Thank you for all that you have done!

We have a lot of fun activities planned for this year.  Later on this month we will have a halloween party.  In November, we are planning on having a space derby.  More details to follow!

Very shortly, we will be updating this site with our calender.  Please check this site often for updates regarding our pack.

Finally, if anyone has any friends that would like to join scouts, please let us know.  We are always looking to add new members.  Any questions can be directed to our packs email address, cbpack373@gmail.com.

Marengo Ridge Camping Trip

When: Friday 6/10/11 after 4:00pm to Sunday 6/12/11 out of campground by 2:00pm

Meet: The youth group area at Marengo ridge conservation district South 23 Marengo IL

What to bring: Tent Camping refer to summer camping list. Food: Bring food for family Breakfast and lunch Sat and Sun. I suggest you eat before you come Friday.

Cost: $10 Per family of 4

Activities: Hiking work on compass belt loop, Fishing, and camping knots. If night allows astronomy belt loop. Also we will work on some outdoor electives per group and other patches from our books.

Rock Cut Camping Trip

When: Friday 7/29/11 after 4:00pm to Sunday 7/31/11 out of campground by 2:00pm



Meet: The youth group area at Rock Cut State Park Rockford IL



What to bring: Tent Camping refer to summer camping list Food: Bring food for family Breakfast and lunch Sat and Sun. I suggest you eat before you come Friday. Pack will plan dinner for Sat.



Cost: $10 Per family of 4



Activities: Hiking work on Geocatching belt loop. Fishing, working on some knots for fishing. Swimming Belt +pin at the Beach + canoe rentals there. If night allows astronomy belt loop.

Fishing Derby!

Roundup!!

Rockford Speedway!!

When: Saturday 6/25/11 at 6:00pm

Meet: At the Rockford Speedway on Route 173 Rockford IL

.
What to bring: Dress for the weather once the cars get going the wind circles the track and gets cooler. Also the cars can be a little noisy, so you might want to bring ear plugs or ear muffs. They sell both of these there too. Snacks and souvenirs sold too.

Cost: Scouts and Adults Free with Shirt on, Adults $7, under 12 $4, under 3 Free Plus spending money for snacks and souvenirs if you want or just come to watch the race!

Activities: Flag ceremony on the track, the boys with shirts on. Then the cars start racing and entertaining us.
